Climate & Weather

Argentina boasts a huge diversity of climates, making it a destination suitable for all seasons. The north of the country experiences tropical and humid weather, whereas the centre is mild, and the south experiences much colder weather. Argentina is located in the southern hemisphere, and so experiences its seasons in reverse.

Temperatures can vary greatly throughout the year. Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world and gateway to Antarctica, averages around 7℃; meanwhile, Iguazú Falls and Buenos Aires can exceed 30℃ in the summer.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit on our Argentina tours comes down to preference. December to February is generally the most popular season, as it is summer in the Southern Hemisphere. This equals perfect conditions for hiking in Patagonia, plus fun nights out in Buenos Aires!

Spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) are considered ideal for sightseeing and may be suitable for those looking to travel on a budget. Meanwhile, the winter months of June to August are perfect for exploring the tropical Iguazú Falls in the north.

Very easily organised and so helpful. Tour guides were great. Shout out pedro. I feel some places we stopped at for either too long or seemed not necessary to see at all, that's my only complaint other than that I would highly recommend.
